The Ultimate VIP Charity Ride though the epic scenery of California!

Inspired by the award winning documentary: WHY WE RIDE

Come ride with us from the lemon groves of Ventura through the rolling valleys of the Paso Robles wine country to beautiful Pismo Beach, then following the Pacific Coast Highway to the secluded redwoods of Big Sur and arrive at the Beaches of Monterey.

*With the recent fires and mudslides in Southern California the daily routes could change to keep our riders safe.

Day 1.

THURSDAY, MAY 12, 2022.

We ride through the lemon groves of Fillmore on our way to Ojai and continue along the winding canyons of the Los Padres National Forest for a catered lunch at the historic 1880’s stagecoach stop Cold Springs Tavern. Then head to rolling hills covered with vineyards with a quick stop a the Riverbech Winery on our way to Pismo beach. We end with a Sunset BBQ dinner on the beach patio of the Seacrest Hotel.

Day 2.

Friday, MAY 13, 2022.

We ride up the coastline to Cayucos Pier and continue onto the most beautiful road in California, the Pacific Coast Highway. Our next stop is Piedras Blancas to observe the largest colony of elephant seals on the West Coast. Then through the magnificent Redwoods and arrive at a private BBQ lunch along the Big Sur River. We’ll continue over the Bixby Bridge to arrive at the Monterey Tides hotel and get ready for the Party!

Day 2. — Banquet

You'll enjoy cocktails and an amazing assortment of Hors d’oeuvres followed by a first class Prime Rib dinner with all the fixings.

Presentation of the Steve Moore Why We Ride Spirit Award and a silent auction of amazing collectibles with all proceeds going to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Day 3.

Saturday, MAY 14, 2022.

We start with a private ride through the hills of Carmel on our way to The Quail Motorcycle Gathering, where there will be private VIP parking area for our bikes. You'll receive VIP credentials into the event. Enjoy The Quail's renowned 5-star catered lunch including exclusive access to the Why We Ride private lounge. Join us for the Why We Ride Group picture with the winner of The Why We Ride Trophy. And ... finally please join us at our sunset cocktail hour in the bar & patio as we say “hasta la vista” until next year.

• Continental Breakfast at the Seacrest Hotel.
• Private BBQ lunch along the Big Sur River Run Inn & Restaurant.
• Access to Riders Banquet Dinner, which includes:

  • Cocktails and an amazing assortment of Hors d’oeuvres.

  • First class Prime Rib dinner with all the fixings.

  • Opportunity to Bid in silent auction for prizes from our supporters with all proceeds going to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Safety:

This group ride is lead by experienced ride leaders. We adhere to all safety guidelines and roadway laws. Riders who adhere to our safety guidelines and stay with our group will be covered by our insurance policy; riders who wish to break away will not.
